Winston Scott Jepson
April 7, 1952 — November 14, 2008
Winston Scott Jepson, age 56 of Springville, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 of natural causes. He was born April 7, 1952 in Upland, California to Winston Frost Jepson and Ruth Venitta Crowley Jepson. He married Jolene Rallison in 1974 and they were later divorced. In 1984, he married Leslie Bonnett. They were later divorced.
Scott attended high school in Provo and attended BYU and Weber State. He especially loved his children. He was an all state wrestler and member of the Western Athletic Conference championship BYU wrestling team in 1982. He also played defensive end for BYU football. Scott was passionate about the outdoors and horses.
He is survived by three sons: Marc, Mike and Jake; three grandchildren; his brothers and sisters: Ariel, Aaron, Dee, Glenna, Roseanne, Vonda, Rex and his mother, Ruth. He was preceded in death by his father, Winston.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville. There will be a viewing held at the mortuary from 11 to 1 prior to the service. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
