Our sweet Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, Vonda Marilyn Gull, 81, of Springville, passed on to be with her eternal loved ones on January 19, 2013.

Marilyn was born November 23, 1931 to Andres Ferdinand Larson and Violet Evabelle Jensen in Oakley, Utah. She was the youngest of five children. She was raised in Wanship, Utah and then later in Provo, Utah. Marilyn graduated from Provo High School and was active in many clubs and sports activities. She was in the drama club and played a role in the high school production of "Love from a Stranger." She was on the Provo High school girls tumbling, basketball and volley ball teams. After graduating from high school she attended and graduated from Stevens-Henager Business College.

She married her sweetheart Wilford Wayne Gull on Dec 19, 1950. They made their first home in Spanish Fork, Utah. Soon after their marriage Wayne enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. Marilyn moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She worked for the Department of the Army in top-secret as a clerk-typist. She also modeled women's western wear and also was photographed in magazines for her eyes for a well known cosmetic company.

She moved back to Utah when Wayne was discharged from the Marines where they raised their three daughters. They divorced after 23 years of marriage. She went to work for Mountain Fuel (Questar Gas) in 1961. She worked her way up to retire as Business Office Supervisor after 28 years. She was a member of the Timpanogos Chapter of Credit Women International for 15 years and served as President for a term.

After she retired she traveled the world and visited many places that she loved including, Mexico, Fiji, Australia, Hawaii, and many other places in the United States. She also enjoyed gardening, ceramics, and lunch with her sweet friend Annie. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved to attend the temple and was a faithful visiting teacher.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters Rhonda Miller, Kristi (Scott) Bateman, and Sheila (Dan) Stout, and her sister Gaylene Eastman, as well as 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Rita, Kale, and Clinton, and her son Rodney Wayne Gull.

The family would like to thank the staff at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and Provo Nursing and Rehab for caring for her. A special thanks to the staff and residents at Spanish Fork Nursing and Rehab for their caring and friend ship to our mother and us.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the LDS Chapel located at 860 E 200 N, Springville, UT. Family and friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S, Springville or Saturday, one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
