Verona Jane Rigtrup, age 79, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, in Springville, Utah. She was born on November 11, 1941 in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Floyd Clifford Newby and Rhea Curtis Newby. Although Verona was born in Idaho, she spent the majority of her life in Springville, Utah.
Verona was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed helping people all throughout her life, and had a loving and giving nature. Verona is survived by her husband Mark L. Rigtrup and many family members who love her.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 7th, from 9:00am - 10:00am at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South Springville, with a graveside service immediately following at 10:30am at Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
