Venell Fredrick (Stoney) Wall, 85 of Springville, Utah returned to his heavenly father on Christmas Day December 25th 2013, surrounded by his family.
Venell was born December 9, 1928, to Lionel and Edris Wall of Santaquin, Utah where he spent his childhood. He served in the Korean War in 1951, earning a purple heart. On October 11, 1952 he married his sweet heart Doris Ileen Diamond of Springville, Utah and they were later sealed in the Manti Temple along with their 3 children Diane, Pat and Rodney Wall. Venell worked as a millwright and retired from Geneva Steel Mill in 1980. Venell's greatest loves were his family and his beautiful yard and bountiful garden.
Venell was greeted in the spirit world by his parents, 3 brothers, a daughter and 2 granddaughters. Venell is survived by his wife Ileen, his two children Diane (Alvin) Castro, Rodney (Tammy) Wall, 12 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
May our dear husband, father and grandfather enjoy the gardens and peace of heaven. You will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the LDS Church at 860 E. 200 N., Springville with a viewing held from 11:00 to 12:45 prior to the services. Burial will take place in the Santaquin City Cemetery.
