Thelma Irene Langdon passed away peacefully on April 8, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Springville, Utah.
She was born in Santa Clara, California in 1922 the only child of Ollie Bell Hayes and Otto Benjamin Watson. She grew up in the Los Angeles area and Del Norte County in California.
Thelma worked for many years as a personnel administrator with the U.S. Forest Service, in Nevada City, CA, and then for HUD in Sacramento, California. In her leisure time, Thelma enjoyed sewing, and attending Relief Society functions. For the past 4 years she enjoyed spending time with her grandsons with their various activities.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Evans (Rodney) of Springville, UT and her son, Michael R. Langdon, of McKinleyville, CA. She is the proud grandmother of three grandsons, Robert Langdon of Eureka, CA, Eric and Scott Evans of Springville, UT and two great-grandsons, Forrest and Gavyn Langdon.
Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. at the Payson 11th Ward 900 West 400 North in Payson. There will be no viewing.
