Taylor Desmond Holman, at the young age of 23, currently residing in Alpine, Utah (previously lived in Orem and Pleasant Grove Utah) passed away January 4, 2010 at his home. He was born March 1, 1986 in Provo, Utah to Juanita Rodriguez Holman and Randy Bruce Holman.
Taylor's accomplishments are many. He is a great Artist, taking after his Grandma LuDean Rodriguez and Great-Grandfather Hyrum Butler. He is an Eagle Scout and was a Lodge Chief with the Order of the Arrow. He loved scouting. Taylor sang beautifully any type of music including "America", Josh Groban, and Frank Sinatra. He enjoyed performing in Theatre and Dancing. His love for cars, especially fast cars, was a hobby which included collecting a few. His love for people, children and family, especially his daughter Madison, was no secret. One of the Utah Jazz's biggest fans and supporters, he attended most of their games and became personal friends with some of the players. Basketball being his favorite sports, he practiced long hours, playing with friends, family and church.
Taylor was home schooled and attended Pleasant Grove High School. At the age of 17 he worked diligently to have his own business. He succeeded, most recently as an investor. Taylor, Your family is so proud of you. Taylor is survived by his sweet daughter Madison of (Alpine) who will miss singing and dancing with her dad. They were everything to each other. Taylor has "Gone Too Soon". We love you Taylor and we miss you so much. Your sweet sense of humor, cute laugh, very intelligent, understanding, caring and loving life.
There's nothing he could not do. He had dreams, some have been fulfilled. He reached his goals here on earth, now he can soar higher to reach his other dreams and achievements. He leaves his most precious daughter Madison (2). She looks just like Taylor at the same age. He lives in her and will continue to love as Taylor has loved.
Other Survivors are Stacy his wife who says she loves and misses Taylor; Taylor's loving mother, Juanita Rodriguez Holman (Pleasant Grove); his father, Randy Bruce Holman (Bountiful); 2 brothers: Kendrick and Daryl Holman (Pleasant Grove); 2 sisters: Miranda and Megan Holman (Pleasant Grove); his half-sister, Brandy Holman Caldwell (Eagle Mountain). Thank you Taylor for loving me. Love Megan!
The funeral will take place at the Springville Museum of Art, 126 E 400 S, Springville, UT on Wednesday January 20, 2010. There will be a viewing beginning at 10 A.M. with the funeral service starting at 11 A.M. The burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
