Steven Glen Ottosen

July 10, 1957 — December 13, 2023

Fountain Green, UT

Steven Glen Ottosen was born to Patricia Keetch Ottosen and Glen Ferd Ottosen on July 10, 1957, in American Fork, Utah. He died of lung failure on December 13, 2023.

He grew up primarily in the Draper, Utah and Lehi, Utah areas. He graduated from Lehi High School. Even while in high school he worked with his Dad in the Heating and Air Conditioning trade and started several of his own HVAC companies. For most of his life he was his own boss. He loved horses, fishing, hunting, boating, almost anything outdoors. He would have been totally in his element in the old west as a cowboy or even a backwoods mountain man. He was known for his big heart and his unfailing kindness.

He was married to Sherri Pittman for many years. Together they raised four children- Rebecca Ottosen, Randy Ottosen, Reggie Ottosen and Ryan Ottosen. He raised his family on the principles of hard work, loyalty, service, and living life to the fullest. Besides his children and their spouses, he is: deeply loved by his three remaining brothers-Garry, Ronald and Jeffrey Ottosen; two sisters-Kellie and Patti Ottosen; many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. All of them loved him and felt his love. He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, and his son Reggie. His heart and his strength will be greatly missed.

A private service to honor his life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 1920 North 500 West in Lehi, Utah.
