Sherry Kollette Skougard Johansen

December 15, 1940 – August 9, 2018

Dear wife of Del, mother to Sherry Lee, Ken, Karen, Kathy, Vic & Lisa. Grandma to 16, Great Grandma to 28, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018, due to complications of dementia.

Sherry was sister to Skip, Johnny, Jackie & Justin (Rusty), foster sister to Evelyn, Renae & Reeda and a good friend to many. She has many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. She loved camping in the motor home and family vacations throughout her life. She also enjoyed arranging flowers for many family weddings & special events. Sherry worked and retired from BYU, where she supervised students in the custodial dept.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Skip & Johnny, sister, Jackie, foster sisters, Evelyn, Renae & Reeda and great grandchildren Jaden, Caden & Collin.

Sherry was dearly loved and will be truly missed.

Services will include a viewing on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 82 W. 400 N., Mapleton, UT. Another viewing will be on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 9:45-10:45 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the LDS Stake Center on 970 N. 400 E., Mapleton, UT. Burial will be in the Mt.
