Seth Dean Stone was born on April 20th at 3:45 AM with only his mom and dad in the room. We felt heaven was close as we welcomed his earthy tabernacle into our arms. He was born on my 25th week of pregnancy and weighed one pound, one ounce and he was twelve inches long.
We found out that we were pregnant with Seth in November and realized he’d chosen to come into our family not long after we’d decided it was time for a fourth child. His heartbeat on every Doppler reading was always 160/165, and he was active and cuddly from the start. We often got the impression that Seth was a gentle and wise soul and that he would join our family as a quiet peacemaker and beloved friend. We didn’t know how true that would be until we learned he’d been unexpectedly called back to heaven.
Seth is a beloved member of our family and we will spend the rest of our lives living to know his personality as we work our way back to him. We believe he would have loved baseball, hikes as a family, cuddling in bed with the rest of us, running down the hallway and playing in the yard, traveling together, reading books, and growing up in a home where he is cherished and unconditionally loved. We are devastated that his mortal journey did not include those earthly rewards but have great faith that our family will be returned together and that we will have the chance again to raise him up and know him deeply.
Seth has a loving daddy, Brett, and mama, Mallory. His oldest brother Tyler, sister Kennedy, and brother Fischer all miss him very much.
