Sandra Jean (Phillips) Cherrington
June 12, 1962 — February 7, 2017
Sandra Jean Phillips Cherrington age 54 of Spanish Fork, passed away February 7, 2017. She was born June 12, 1962 in Provo to Lamar and Iris (Patterson) Phillips. She was raised in Springville and graduated from Springville High School and attended UVU majoring in Business/Fashion design. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She had many talents. She was a Rodeo Queen for Springville Art City Days and won many awards. She loved classic cars, doll collecting and cookie jars. She loved to do cross-stitch and other handwork. She loved her dogs, Moose and Stormy who kept her company during the day.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved the outdoors and going on road trips. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her.
Survivors include: Husband- Jon Kay Cherrington of SpFork, Daughter-Jennifer Fraughton of SLC, Son-Robert Blake (Amelia Lu) Cherrington of Santaquin, Son-Jon Michael Cherrington of SpFork, Mother-in-Law - Christie Ann Anderson Cherrington of Springville, Brother-David Phillips of Garland, Brother Larry Phillips of SpFork, Sister-Debbie (Tom) Daley of NV, Sister Vicky (Gary) Oberg of Delta. Proceeded in death by: Father: Lamar Phillips, Mother: Iris (Patterson) Phillips, Father-in-law: Robert Paul Cherrington.
A viewing will be held Friday, February 10, 2017 from 6-8pm at the Wheeler Mortuary 211 East 200 South in Springville, UT. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the LDS church located at 585 N. Main Street in Spanish Fork. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 10:00-11:00am
Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, UT
