It is with heavy hearts we have to share the unexpected passing of Ryan Elmo Marshall on March 29, 2024. Ryan was born Jan 12, 1982, in Provo Utah to Robert and Cathy Marshall. He married the love of his life Natashia Howlett on June 16, 2012. Ryan and Natashia have a son, Liam who is six years old. Liam was the center of Ryan's world. Ryan Loved camping, reading, playing with Liam, playing guitar, coffee drives, and his cats Winnie and Lucy. He was smart, and skilled at many trades. He quickly worked his way into a highly technical IT field and was almost entirely self-taught. He had a photographic memory and would often tell you about things he has learned or found intriguing in intricate detail.
Ryan was larger than life and always had advice or a story to tell you. No one could out-talk Ryan. His family will miss his four-hour phone calls discussing anything and everything under the sun. Ryan wore his heart on his sleeve, and he never let you leave without a huge hug. His family was always his top priority. He was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was like a brother to his nieces and nephews, and they loved him like one.
Ryan was preceded in death by grandparents Craig and Darlene Marshall, Lee and Colleen Snelson, and Shirley and LaVar Rockwood. He is survived by his loving wife Natashia Marshall and his son Liam Marshall; parents Robert and Cathy Marshall; brother Chad (Melissa) Marshall: nieces and nephews Daven (Courtney)Lamb, Ashton (Hayley) Lamb, Kaylee (Gage) Stubblefield, Hudson Stubblefield, Jordan (Kyrstin) Marshall, Easton Marshall, Skye Anderson, Rowan and Cyrus Bailey; father and mother-in-law Cody and Kerri Howlett; brother and sister in laws Kristen (Brett) Anderson, Malinda (William) Bailey, and Cameron Howlett.
We can't begin to explain the huge hole Ryan has left in our lives and in our hearts. He will be so deeply missed.
