Robert "Jed" Jedediah Perry

December 28, 1977 — March 22, 2010

Our beloved son, brother and grandson, Robert Jedediah Perry, returned with honor to his Heavenly Father and his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, March 22, 2010 following an illness. Jed was born in Provo, Utah, on December 28, 1977, to Robert Craig and Junalee Sizemore Perry. Jed lived a life of many challenges, yet he had so much to share with everyone his life touched. 2 Nephi 2:25 states, "Men are, that they might have joy." Jed lived and taught this simple, eternal precept every day. He found joy in simple toys, sand, dirt, faces, textures, wind, sounds, snow, rain, puddles, donuts, anything his Father in Heaven placed on earth for him, he enjoyed. What a joyous life he has had and what a marvelous lesson he has left for all of us, to frequently find joy in the simple things of life. He came into this world as a perfect little miracle and has left us to take his place in God's presence, remaining perfect and worthy, completing his mission on earth with honor and love. We are so happy to think of him in a better place; a place of light, peace and joy, where he can run, speak, sing, gain knowledge and progress.

Jed's life has been enriched by so many loving and compassionate caregivers, to whom Jed's family can never express enough gratitude. Melanie Walters and Rachelle Babcock cared for Jed for over 15 years as Professional Parents with Rise, Inc. We thank them and their families for caring for and loving Jed like their own. Katie Strout, Case Manager with Rise, Inc., Valerie Jacobsen, Support Coordinator; and all of the staff and administrators at Ability and Choice Services have also provided exceptional care and services to Jed.

Survivors include Jed's Father, Robert Craig Perry; his Mother, Junalee Sizemore (Timothy) Lawhorn; Siblings; Rachael Gay, Jeremiah (Jenna) Perry, Joseph (Jenilee) Sizemore, and Liz (Vincent) Del Colle; Grandmothers; Melba Colvin Perry, Lois Sizemore Price; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jed was preceded in death by two Grandfathers; Arthur Price and Leo Perry.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville, Utah, with a viewing from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the mortuary. Interment will follow at the Historic Springville City Cemetery, 200 West and 400 South in Springville.
