Robert George Paxman, age 54, peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father on July 16, 2014 at his home in Springville, Utah. Robert was surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Nephi, Utah on September 1, 1959 to George William and Norma Betty Andersen Paxman. Robert married his eternal sweetheart, Salee Robbins, on February 4, 1983 in the Jordan River Temple, and together they had four children.

Robert grew up in Nephi, Utah and graduated from Juab High School and Snow College with a degree in Computer Science. Robert had a curious mind and had to know how things worked. Robert owned and operated Rofix, a computer repair business. He was blessed to work at BYU with amazing co-workers and Brothers in the gospel. He treasured his time there.

Robert served a mission for the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, in Australia where he learned to love the people there and took many great attributes home. Robert served faithfully in many callings. He loved the Bible, especially the Old Testament, and was able to make the book come to life in his many callings as a teacher. He was blessed to visit Israel, where he was able to walk where Jesus walked, and see the many places spoken of in the Bible.

Robert never missed an opportunity to tell his family that he loved them and that he was happy they were in his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Salee; children: Rachel Paxman, James (Sarah) Paxman, Diana (James) Schelin and David Paxman; granddaughters: Nevaeh and Alice. He is also survived by his parents, George William and Janet Paxman; sisters: Barbara (Steve) Hannett, Connie (Shawn) Hannett, Andrea (Kenneth)Kay, Valerie Belknap; brother, Jack Paxman; step-sisters, Debbie(Larry) Fleenor, Lily (Scott) Houtz, and step-brother Dan Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, mother and his brother David.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Hobble Creek West 4th Ward LDS Chapel 1460 East 900 South Springville, UT. Viewings will be held Sunday, July 20th from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S, Springville, and Monday, 1 hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at the Vine Bluff Cemetery in Nephi, Utah, at 2 pm.
