Reva Nancy Taylor

Reva Nancy (Platt) Taylor (55) passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, November 2, 2008 with her family at her side from a courageous battle with cancer. Reva had a way of lighting up a room with her presence and cared so much about others.



Reva was born to Virgil Jerome Platt and Nancy Louise Bradshaw on February 23, 1953 in Taber, AB, Canada. Reva married her sweetheart Michael Shirl Taylor on July 28, 1972 in the Cardston Alberta Temple. They are the parents of 5 children. She is survived by her husband Mike, her children; Tiffany Smith, Payson, Justin (Jordan) Taylor, Coeur d'Alene, ID, Tanya Taylor, Park City, Amber (Jared) Robertson, Lehi and Clint Taylor, Elko, NV; sister Robynne Platt, Lethbridge, AB Canada and mother in law Shirley Taylor, Spanish Fork. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ray, Reed and Richard Platt.



She loved and adored her 9 grandchildren; Sierra Smith, Brady Smith, Colter Smith, Kendyl Taylor, Bryant Robertson, Duncan Smith, Kailey Robertson, Jakell Smith & Jamon Robertson.



Reva served as a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed taking long hot baths, reading, licorice ice cream, public speaking and swimming. Her main priority was spending time with her family and friends and serving her Savior and his Church. She will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever.



A viewing will be held Wed., Nov. 5, from 6-8pm at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville and Thur., from 10-11am in the LDS Hidden Cove Relief Society room, 2379 E. River Bottom Rd. (1100 S.), Springville. Funeral services will be held on Thur., Nov. 6 beginning at 11am in the Hidden Cove chapel.



Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 S. 400 E., Springville.
