Reed Curtis Leetham

December 14, 1946 — August 14, 2011

Our loving husband, father, & grandfather passed away peacefully Sunday August 14, 2011 in Provo, Utah.

He was born December 14, 1946 in Provo, Utah to Vernon Elmer and Margaret LaVon Leetham. He married Rosemary Seiler in 1969 and had two boys Todd and Curtis, then later divorced. He married Valerie Herbert in 1991, who was the love of his life.

Reed was drafted into the United States Army in 1969 and served during the Vietnam conflict. Upon returning from duty he returned to Utah and worked at Geneva Steel. After retiring from Geneva, Reed continued a successful career with Xtek as western regional sales manager. He loved his work and had a passion for life on and off the golf course. He loved his family more than anything. He had a deep sense of honor. He looked for integrity in people, and was respected by many. We will miss his quick wit, loving teasing and good humor. He had an abundance of friends and family who now mourn his passing.

Survived by his wife Valerie of Springville; children: Todd of Boston, Mass., Curtis of Sandy, Utah. Also survived by LaRae Erickson (sister), Kenneth Leroy Leetham (brother) & 4 grandchildren, Luke, Madison, Max & Aubrey. Preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Elmer and Margaret LaVon Leetham and Darrell Vernon Leetham (brother).
