Rebecca Lyn White Thomas returned peacefully to her heavenly father in the early morning on September 30, 2009.
Becky was born in Madison, Wisconsin on August 20, 1966. She lived in Madison until she was 6 months of age, then she moved to Provo, UT where she lived for most of her life.
She attended Timpview High School in Provo, UT. She had many friends and loved them all. She had such a wonderful personality and took everything head on. She graduated from Timpview in 1984. Becky then attended college on a scholarship for a short time.
She later married Daniel Scott Thomas on January 2, 1987 in Provo, UT. She loved her family with her whole heart. Her family was very important to her.
She enjoyed her family trips to Yellowstone, her many weekend get-a-ways to the sand dunes with her family and friends. She loved the many cruises she and Dan went on together. She loved her co-workers and friends and spoke of them often.
She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Scott Thomas of Springville, UT; her two daughters, Tiffany Lyn Miller (Jesse) of Provo, UT and Nicole Irene Elmer (Danny) of Provo, UT; and her three grandchildren, James Lee Miller (2), Lucas Scott Miller (deceased - Jan. 4 - Feb. 2, 2009), Kayleigh Monroe Elmer (2 mon.) and another on the way.
She is also survived by her parents, David Arnold White and Norma Lyn Jones White of Provo, UT; her brothers, Brian Keith White (Amy) of Saratoga Springs, UT and Steven David White of Provo, UT.
Also survived by Dan's family: mother-in-law, Irene Smith Thomas and the deceased Malcom Thomas; and Dan's siblings: Bob Thomas, Jim Thomas, Cindy Bugado, and David Thomas. Also numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as her faithful cat, Princess.
She is loved by many and will be missed by all. Family and friends will feel the loss of Becky very deeply for her wonderful sense of humor, her beautiful spirit and loving, generous nature.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2009 at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville. There will be a viewing held at the mortuary Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Monday one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
