R. Dale Hone

Roland Dale Hone, born July 10, 1939 died on June 3, 2016 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. Dale was born in Spanish Fork, Utah to Raymond D. Hone and Jennie Mae Thomas Hone, and grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah. He married Roma Singleton in 1958, they were married for 31 years and had five boys and a girl, they were later divorced. Dale met and married Debbie Jensen on March 10, 1992 and was later sealed to her in the Manti temple.

Dale worked many jobs in his life. He started out wanting to be a mechanic, but then went into construction work. He was a jack of all trades and did many different jobs in his life. Dale loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his family. Dale helped Debbie take care of her grandchildren in their home. He helped any of his children, step children and anyone who needed his help.

Dale was preceded in death by three of his son's Alfred Hone, Bobby Hone, and Benjamin Hone also preceded in death by his parents, sisters Jenny and Elva, and his brother Raymond (Dean). He will be missed by his loving wife Debbie, of Salina, Utah, his sons, Arthur Hone of Springville, Utah, Christopher (Kimberly) Hone of Springville, Utah, and Stacie (Mark) Kovatch of Springville, Utah, and Step children Lorie Earl of Midvale, Shawn (Rosanne) Darling, of Salina, Utah, Michelle (Kevin Ivey) LaSalle, of Spanish fork, Utah, and Dale Lyn (Cynthia) Darling of Orem, Utah. He will also be missed by his 32 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing held at the Wheeler Mortuary 211 East 200 South on Tuesday June 7, 2016 from 6-8. The funeral will be held at 355 East Center Street on Wednesday June 8, 2016 at 1 p.m. with a viewing one hour prior. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
