Ray Hugh Wing

Ray Hugh Wing made a valiant return to our Heavenly Father July 6, 2015 at his home in Springville, Utah at the age of 86. Ray was born April 20, 1929 in Mapleton, Utah to Ralph J. and Vonda Wing. He was the oldest of four children.
He served in the US Army as a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne Division. He married his sweetheart, Kathleen Jacobsen, on April 6, 1955. They were sealed in the Manti Temple Feb. 19, 1994. Together, they enjoyed motorcycle racing, camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathy; brother, Bryce Wing; sister, Janis Carter; son, Rodney Carter; son-in-law, Butch Curtis; daughter, Judy Lowe; grandsons, Gary Carter and Rick Curtis and granddaughter, Andrea Butler.
He is survived by his sister, Bonnie Greenslade; sister-in-law, Mary Wing; children: Mickey Carter (Ilene), Gary Carter (Paula), Bonnie Curtis, Ralph Wing (Pam) and Lary Wing (Shelley); 25 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S, Springville, UT. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
