RaVae Allan

d. May 3, 2013

1935~2013

Our sweet and beautiful mother, grandmother and "gramma-great", RaVae Allan, passed away after a short but valiant battle against melanoma cancer.

RaVae was born February 23, 1935 in Mapleton, UT to Ira and Genevieve Allan. She was the third of four children.

On July 23, 1953, RaVae married Paul W. Allan. Mom and Dad were later sealed for time and eternity in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple on July 23, 1999.

After graduating from Springville High School, she began her true life's work, raising her five beloved children. Mom was also employed by the Nebo School District for many years as a "lunch lady" surrounded by more children.

When grandchildren then great-grandchildren came along, she poured her love, wisdom and gospel principles out to each of them.

Paul and RaVae have five children: Brad (Julie) Allan, Mapleton, UT; Melanie (Craig) Jorgenson, American Fork, UT; Jeff (Tara) Allan, McCammon, ID; Michelle (Rick) Gout, Payson, UT; and Travis (Dawn) Allan, Hooper, UT. They have 20 grandchildren and an ever increasing number of great-grandchildren.

RaVae is now re-united with the love of her life, Paul, who preceded her in death, along with her parents, siblings, and grandson, Bronson Sam Jorgenson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the LDS Chapel located at 1316 South Main, Mapleton, UT. Viewing for friends and family will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 82 West 400 North, Mapleton and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment at the Evergreen Cemetery, Springville.
