Rada Miner Nusink

Rada Miner Nusink age 70 of Springville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 27, 2008. She was born April 19, 1937 in Springville, Utah to Wanda Carson and Don Thomas Miner. Rada married David H. Nusink on August 3, 1956 in Springville. Their marriage was solemnized in September 1967 in the Manti Temple.



Rada was raised and attended schools in Springville, graduating from Springville High School in 1955. Throughout her life, she lived in Las Vegas, Price, and returned to Springville. She was employed by Barbazon and later by Kara Chocolates. Rada enjoyed gardening and observing, caring for and feeding wild animals and livestock. She was a member of the "Girlfriends Club" for 45 years. Rada was an active member of the LDS Church serving as Primary President and also as a faithful visiting teacher.



She is survived by her husband, David H. Nusink of Springville; children: Nancy of Springville, Brad (Tina) of Springville, Clair (Susan) of Springville and Layne of Lakeshore; 8 grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Rodney (Carolyn), Doug (Maryann), Sherl, and Noralee (Eric) Bird. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Wyatt.



Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Kolob Stake Center at 1230 South 500 East in Springville. There will be a viewing held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville and at the church on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
