1928 ~ 2014
Paul Leonard Larsen was born September 13, 1928 to Anderson Reed Larsen and Jessie Wing Larsen. He returned to his Heavenly Father on January 17, 2014. He married his sweetheart Lorraine Maland on August 16, 1950, in the Manti temple. They had nine children (five sons and four daughters), 26 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
Paul was a high priest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a bishop, bishop's councilor, high councilor, gospel doctrine teacher, and in many other positions. He was an ordinance worker in the Provo Temple for over eight years. He and his wife served a mission to Tennessee in 1993 and 1994. He worked at Geneva Steel for 38 years. Paul was a very family oriented man. He loved hunting, fishing, and family campouts. Camping around Soapstone, four wheeling, and seeing the many animals there was a favorite. He also enjoyed farming and raising cattle. Paul enjoyed life and the great outdoors. His wife Lorraine died in 2004 and he missed her very much. He will be so happy to be reunited with his wife, family, and friends.
He is survived by his children Gregory Paul (Karen) Larsen, Rochelle (Leo) Lindquist, Kevin Maland (Taralyne) Larsen, Leslie (Richard) Graham, Blake Leonard (Char) Larsen, David Scott Larsen, Randall Glade (Linda) Larsen, Millicent (Bart) Bunker, Camille Larsen and his sisters Norma Hillyard and Melba Brinkerhoff.
