Patrick Gary Killian, 47, passed away on May 3, 2015 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Patrick was born on December 9, 1967 in Hawthorne, CA. Patrick was raised by his mother Margurite Tibben and step-father Tom Tibben in the Santa Ynez Valley, CA. He graduated from Santa Ynez High School in 1986.

Patrick moved to Utah in 1993 to start his career in the construction industry. He was an amazing finish carpenter and had a true talent in master craftsmanship. He was employed by Miller General Contracting where he made many lasting friendships.

Patrick married Stephanie Grobben on May 18, 1995. They had one son together, Tyler J. Killian. They were later divorced. Patrick met his soul mate Jeana Stubbs and they were engaged to be married on July 14, 2015.

Patrick was the happiest when he was with his family and friends. Spending time with his son Tyler was the absolute joy in his life, whether they were snowboarding, surfing, wakeboarding or spending time in the outdoors. He taught Tyler to live life to the fullest, just as he lived. Patrick and Jeana built a beautiful life together with their combined families. They loved adventures and created many memories together, especially on the lake.

Patrick was a kid at heart and lived life to the fullest. He was a friend to everyone and his smile would light up a room. He was kind, generous and loyal and will be remembered by the special way he made others feel. He would help anyone in need without hesitation. He had a huge heart and a beautiful soul. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew him.

Patrick is survived by his parents, Tom and Margurite Tibben; son, Tyler J. Killian; brother, Ray Killian; sisters: Nadene (Jeff) Graham, Erica (Bob) Berryman; fiance, Jeana Stubbs; Jeana’s children: Breanne (Tyler) Sleater, Caprise (Cory) Draper, Kylie and Cheynee Stubbs; grandchildren: Daxton and Shaylie Draper and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ella Berry and grandparents, Bill and Leona Skinner.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S, Springville, UT. A viewing will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. for all friends and family.

Patrick will be laid to rest in California where his heart resides. His final resting place will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Ballard, CA.
