Patricia Alice (Rowe) Carter

Patricia Carter (Rowe) passed away peacefully on October 21, 2019 in Payson, Utah at the age of 72.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Michael W. Carter and son Grandon W. Carter (Tiffany) of Springville, Utah, one brother, Vaughn (Leslie) and one sister, Vickie (Rick).  Also 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Grandon E. and Ethel Cleone Rowe, and daughter DeAnn C. Price (Jeff) of Springville.

Patricia was born July 12, 1947 in Payson to Grandon E. Rowe & Ethel Cleone Row (Sidwell).  She attended Springville High School and she was married before she graduated.  Patricia married Michael Wayne Carter on August 1, 1964 in Springville, Utah.  Patricia had many jobs with many different companies, but ultimately ended up working as head coach for Nebo School District. She was active in the LDS Church where she fulfilled many callings from Primary Presidency to Cub Scouts which she loved doing, seeing the joy on the boy’s faces with a job well done. She achieved many awards throughout her Scouting career. In 1991 she decided to get her GED, and she attended night school at Springville High.

Funeral services for Patricia will be Friday, October 25th at the LDS Church located at 555 South Averett Avenue in Springville, Utah.  There will be a viewing held Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 6-8pm at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville.  There will also be a viewing at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Goshen City Cemetery.
