Nikole Wiscombe

August 10, 1942 — March 5, 2011

Nikole Wiscombe our beloved, Sister, Aunt, and Buddy left this life peacefully on March 5, 2011.

Nikole was the 3rd child and 1st daughter of Karl G. and Gladys Thomas Wiscombe, she came into this life with many challenges. She had two strong brothers to love and help care for her James Richard Wiscombe and Karl Gene Wiscombe, not long after a baby sister Joyce Wiscombe completed the family. This family was full of love and support.

Her Mother and Father cared for her disabilities until she was 5, at that time she was placed in the American Fork Training School to further her growth and learning. Her Father passed away shortly after this time, due to health problems from a childhood disease. Her Mother continued to to help her learn and grow along with the training center and was very much involved in her life until the time of her death in 1998. Niki loved being at the Training School with all the Kids. She resided there for many years, she also lived in the Lindon Care Center for a few years. The Provo Care Center was her final home she was very close to the staff and residents. When she would come home to spend time with her family it would not last long before she as ready to return as she missed them all so much.

Niki's favorite things were: Playing cards, books, magazines, Lassie, Provo Care Center Staff, purses, watches, working, washing windows, and her Chuckie. But, her very favorite thing is her Brother Gene!

Niki is survived by her siblings, James Richard (Jackie) Wiscombe, Karl Gene (Peggy) Wiscombe, Joyce Wiscombe Olsen. 7 nieces and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her Father, Karl G. Wiscombe, Mother, Gladys (Penny) Thomas Wiscombe Pennington. Sibling Baby Boy Wiscombe, and Sister-in-law Peggy Wiscombe. We are certain it has been a grand reunion on the other side.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Provo Care Center for the love and constant care they have given to Nikole and for the countless hours of service rendered on her behalf. In addition we thank the Doctors and Nurses at the Timpanogos Regional Hospital for the comfort and care they gave Nikole and her family in her final days..

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah.
