MyrnaLee (Weight) Tew

MyrnaLee Weight Tew passed away peacefully with family by her side in Orem, Utah at age 80 on Monday, December 7, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents Nolan and Aileen Weight; her husband, Dean L. Tew and a grandson, Casey Tew. She is survived by her brothers: Howard, Barry, Melvyn, and Kent; her sisters: Camille Powell and LaNell Riddle; sons: Grant (Diane), Kevin (Debbie) and Steven (Joanne) and daughters: Jennalee Long (Bruce), Cynthia Keetch (Mike) and Karen Jones (Travis). She spent most of her life serving her husband and children. She loved all holidays and enjoyed decorating her home for each. Hobbies included oil painting, sewing, cooking and reading. She was a great cook and enjoyed making candy at Christmas time. She was married to Dean on September 12, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Funeral services will be on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the LDS Chapel at 1316 S Main, Mapleton. Viewings will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mapleton Wheeler Mortuary, 82 West 400 N, Mapleton and Fri. one hour prior to the services at the church.  Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
