Monta Ford Felix

Monta Ford Felix, 89, of Saint George, Utah, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023. She was born January 23, 1934, in Richfield, Utah to John Devon and Audrie Cuyler Ford. She married James Ivan Felix on June 17, 1955 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Jim passed away on August 30, 2019.

She was a gifted pianist and taught piano lessons for many years. She also had incredible typing, and shorthand skills and used them as a scribe to the Kolob Stake Patriarch for over 20 years. She loved her flower gardens and had wonderful skill in quilting. She served in many church callings and was a great example as a wife and mother.

She is survived by her children: Lynne (Kent) Gleed, Cynthia (Tony) Hunt, Ken (Julie) Felix, Randy (Sandi)Felix and Wayne(Jaime) Felix; 17 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and son Greg.

A viewing will be held Wed, August 30, 2023 from 9:30-10:30 am at Wheeler Mortuary located at 211 East 200 South in Springville, Utah. Graveside services will follow at 11:00AM at Evergreen Cemetery.
