Miren Mabel Carter

Miren Mabel Carter, our sweet “Miracle”, peacefully passed away at Primary Children’s Hospital on March 13th, 2025. She was 7 months old, born on August 8th, 2024 in Las Vegas, NV.

Our spunky little girl loved to wiggle and play, giggle and babble, and grab onto everything she could reach. She got dubbed “Queen of the Side Eye” because of her sassy poses whenever someone tried taking her picture. Nothing made her more excited than food time, especially when she tried puréed banana—though TV screens were a close second. Miren also spent plenty of time listening to books and lullabies while falling asleep in her loved ones’ arms.

Miren had something truly special about her that drew people in. Her very own personal fan club quickly grew around her at home, church, hospitals, and anywhere else she went. It was honestly astonishing how many people loved Miren and felt joy because of her. With her many adventures through adoption and hospital stays combined with her adorable social personality, our little angel touched more hearts in her short 7 months of life than many people can with a full 70 years. Though she will be deeply missed, we know that she continues to be that same joyful angel in heaven.

Miren is survived by her parents Bryce and Esther Carter, as well as by grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many other loving family members.

A viewing for Miren will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler & Sundberg Funeral Home, 211 East 200 South, Springville, Utah, and from 11-11:30 a.m. before the services at the church. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 505 East 900 North, Spanish Fork, Utah.
