Mickey Dawn (Hambly) Hardesty, 77, of Tooele, Utah, passed away Thursday, January 14th, 2021.
She was born in Tooele, Utah September 11th 1943 to Mable Thompson. She married Richard Gordon Fay then James T. Hardesty. She is a Daughter of the Pioneers whose family founded Malad, Utah. She proudly served and retired from the Los Alamitos, California police department where she climbed the ranks from dispatch radio to Lead Supervisor in charge of all computer records and incoming cadets. For 56yrs she enjoyed spending time with her fellowship community performing service work as a national delegate and bringing their message to hospitals and institutions. Her favorite hobbies included reading, crochet, photography, painting and crafting in general. A few of her favorite things were the ocean, fine food and world travel. She loved and continues to bless us with an unconditional love that is without measure.
Mickey is survived by her two children Lisa Dawn Fay 53 and Jonathan William Fay 48. Step children: Robbi June Hardesty Begley 68, and Terri Marie Hardesty 63. Grandchildren: Paige Margaret Simon 30, Sierra Dawn Fay 16, Summer Lark Fay 14, and Zachariah Dartanian Lewis Fay 18. Step Grandchildren: Christopher Michael Burke 43, Jessica Anne Burke 37, Rebecca Suzanne Fish, Rand Revoir.
Mickey was preceded in death by her husband James T. Hardesty Grandchild Talon Thayer Fay, Step Children Robert Alan Hardesty and Suzanne Marie Austin. Step Grandchild Patrick Ryan Burke.
Services will be held Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 at 12 noon @ Wheeler Mortuary 211 East 200 South Springville, Utah, 84663. Potluck afterwards for family and friends at:
