Micheal J. Broderick, age 65, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in his home on Monday, September 2nd, 2019.
Micheal was born on November 20, 1953 in Provo Utah to Marvell and Nilah Broderick. He is survived by his sweetheart of 44 years, Roni and their five children Casey (Trevor) Andreasen, Bryan (Jennie) Broderick, Travis (Heidi) Broderick, Kim (Nate) Terry, and Mikele (Chris) Baum, and 19 beautiful grandchildren, who he loved dearly and they all adored him back. He is also survived by his father, his brother Gary and sister Christine. He is preceded in death by his mother, and sister, Connie.
Mike was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served a mission for the church in Auckland New Zealand, then returned home and married Roni in the Manti temple in 1975. He worked for the church at Deseret Industries for 33 years as a truck driver. He retired in November of 2018 and was so excited to start living his life as a retired grandpa, and to spend more time with the love of his life.
He was blessed with the talent of making friends and talking with anyone. He had a special place in his heart for those who are disabled and could always make a connection with those that worked with him. He loved gardening, fishing, hunting and most of all, tickling his grandkids to hear them laugh. He had kind eyes, and a soft heart. He carried within him the true countenance of Christ. We love you, our husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Your time was too short. You will be greatly missed and always remembered.
