Melodee Canto-Schardine

Melodee Canto-Schardine, 50, of Indianola, UT, died peacefully in her sleep on December 25, 2010. Melodee was born November 24, 1960 to John and Maurine Canto. She married Rex Allan Schardine, December 11, 1982. Melodee grew up in Springville, UT.



Melodee had 5 boys who were her pride and joy. She was an amazing mother and an unconditional friend to all of her nieces and nephews. Her husband, Rex, was the love of her life. Melodee lived life to the fullest and crammed as much fun into 50 years as she could. She was very tenderhearted and full of love for everyone. One of the greatest days of her life was when her little granddaughter, Beth Melodee was born. She was so happy to finally have the little daughter that she had waited for all her life.



Melodee was an extremely talented person who taught herself how to operate and fix computers and was the personal IT for anyone who knew her.



Melodee is survived by her mother, Maurine Canto of Spanish Fork, UT; father-in-law, Louis Bud Schardine of Springville; husband, Rex of Indianola; 5 sons: Louis, Rock, Wyatt (Beth), Nico and Carter Schardine; 1 grandchild, 2 brothers and 4 sisters: Domonic, Teresa, Debbie, Susan, Annette and Tony. She was preceded in death by her father John (Jack) Canto and mother-in-law, Shirley Schardine.



Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Meadowlark 2nd Ward, 870 East Canyon Road, Spanish Fork, UT. Friends may call Wednesday evening at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S, Springville, UT, from 6 to 8 p.m. or Thursday one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
