Melanie Cook Memmott

Melanie Cook Memmott, age 40 of Provo, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2009. She was born February 4, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dale LaMar Cook and Joan Anderson Cook. She married Tim Memmott July 2, 1986 in Alpine, Utah.
Melanie loved animals and the outdoors, especially camping. She enjoyed doing yard work, crafts and enjoyed her work as a heavy equipment operator. Melanie especially loved her children.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Memmott; children: Ryan Memmott, Desiree Memmott, Clint Memmott and Shania Memmott; her stepdaughter, Daniele Memmott; three grandchildren: Tristan, Kaylee and Alyssa; her parents, Dale LaMar and Joan Cook; sister, Traci (Chris) Sondrup; brother, Cody (Sandy) Cook. She is also survived by Reed and Mary Memmott; stepparents, Jesse and Kathy Lunceford; and grandparents, Jay and Alice Simons and Norma Cook. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Beverly Lunceford.
There will be a viewing held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville. Private family services will be held Thursday, January 29, 2009.
