Maryann (Scott) Curtis

Maryann Scott Curtis, 68 years of age and of Springville, Utah, was born March 4, 1953 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Pershing Scott and Violet Henrie Scott. She passed away peacefully on July 21, 2021 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah.

Maryann attended and graduated from Spanish Fork High School.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She worked for many years at the Utah State Developmental Center in American Fork, Utah and several years at Convergys.  She enjoyed being with her friends for monthly lunch dates.  Maryann loved her family, especially many nieces and nephews.  Maryann is loved, and will be missed by all.

Maryann married Lynn R. Curtis in the Mount Timpanogos Temple on August 22, 2009.

Maryann is survived by her daughter Amber Nicole.  Sisters Joan Abbey, Emily Chidester, and brother Mark Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Walter Scott and her loving husband Lynn R. Curtis.

Memorial services will be held Monday, August 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Spring Creek 14th Ward Chapel at 672 North 250 West in Springville, Utah.
