Mary Louise Daley Diamond

Together Again



Mary Louise Daley Diamond, 92, of Mapleton passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 of conditions incident to age. She was born June 9, 1919 in Driggs, Idaho to Graham Little Daley and Margaret Eva Simons Daley. She married Harold Diamond in May of 1940. Their marriage was later solemnized the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death on January 13, 2007, they shared 66 years together.



Mary was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. She especially enjoyed working in the temple and genealogy center. Mary was a wonderful seamstress and cook. She loved the holidays when family would gather. She loved the great outdoors, hiking, camping, and watching Utah Jazz Basketball.



Mary is survived by two daughters: Sheri (Ed) Reel of Mapleton and Margo (Clayne) Weight of Mapleton; son-in-law, Randy Kelsey of Payson; Five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, thirteen siblings, husband, three sons, and one daughter.

Please join us in a celebration of Mary's remarkable life Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Mapleton LDS Stake Center at 970 North 400 East in Mapleton. There will be a viewing held Monday, November 14, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 82 West 400 North in Mapleton and at the Stake Center on Tuesday, 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
