Marva Waters Davis passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 94. Marva was born June 19, 1928, to Carrel and Iva Weight Waters. She married F. Keith Davis on September 11, 1947, in the Manti Temple.
Marva was a lifelong resident of Mapleton and Springville. She and Keith were active members of the Springville community and were recognized as citizens of the year in 2008. They served as diligent members of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and several other organizations.
She is preceded in death by her sweetheart F. Keith Davis, her parents, 4 siblings (Thelma Waters Corey, Melvin Waters, Arlen Waters, and Raeona Waters), brother-in-law Clark Davis, and son-in-law David Johnson (Shauna). She is survived by her older sister Marcile Waters Pugh, sister-in-law Zina Davis, 3 children, Shauna Noland (Kenny), Suzanne Davis, Thomas Keith Davis (Shirlene), 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville. Funeral services will be Monday, September 19, 2022, at 11:00 am at the LDS Chapel located at 235 East 570 North in Springville with a viewing held that morning from 9:30-10:30 am at the church prior to the services. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
Marva loved her family and friends, America, all things pink, lipstick, and roses. We love you MARVAlous Marva!
