Mark Allen Terry

Mark Allen Terry, 66, of Spanish Fork, Utah, returned home to his Heavenly Father on Monday, March 3, 2025, in Spanish Fork, Utah surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 13, 1959, in Payson, Utah, to Don Andrew Terry and Maralene Tobler. He married Annette Kay Jensen on July 19, 1980, in the Provo LDS Temple for time and all eternity.

Mark devoted his life to public service working first as an EMT on the Springville Ambulance, then as a Firefighter with the Springville Fire Department, and finally as a Police Officer for both the State of Utah and the Utah County Sheriff’s Office where he finished his career.

Mark was a devoted Husband, Father, Papa, Brother & Friend to his wife, four children, six grandchildren, eight siblings and countless friends. Mark enjoyed everything about the outdoors including camping, hunting and fishing with his family. He also had a passion for woodworking, cycling and building and restoring fishing rods. Mark was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served a Mission in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and served in many church capacities.

Mark is survived by his wife Annette of Spanish Fork, Utah; four children: Nathan (Kim) Terry of Santaquin, Utah; Kira Terry of Springville, Utah; Felicia (Neil) Carpenter of Payson, Utah; Amber Terry of Spanish Fork, Utah; his six grandchildren: Addison, Paisley, Kade, Ryder, Millie and Emma. He was preceded in death by his sister Marcie & father Don.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 1006 East 180 South, Spanish Fork, Utah. A viewing for friends and family will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary located at 211 East 200 South in Springville, and on Monday just prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery and will include full Honor Guard and a Last Call with local Fire & Police departments.

The family would like to thank Mark’s team of doctors, nurses and hospice team who have cared and dedicated their time to serve him and his family over the last four years.
