Mark Thomas Nielson

Mark Thomas Nielson was born in Provo, Utah to Oran and June Nielson on April 13, 1956. He passed away in Provo October 13, 2018.
Mark grew up in Springville and graduated from Springville High. He attended Trade Tech where he received his commercial driver's license.
He married Donna Fausett and together they had one son, Clayton. They were later divorced. He married Jenefer Summerhays March of 1987. They have lived in Lake Shore for the past 17 years where he enjoyed working on his farm.
Mark was a hard worker, he drove truck for Brookside Ice making runs between Utah and Nevada. He worked at Geneva, Kennecott, and was currently employed at Sunroc. He always enjoyed working outdoors and running equipment.
Mark is survived by his wife, Jenefer, his son Clayton (Jamie) Riding, and three beautiful grandchildren, Tessa 6, Beckham 3, and Landon 2. His sister Kay (Stacey) Mitchell and brother Paul Nielson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oran Nielson and June Nielson.
A viewing will be held Wednesday October 17th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S in Springville.
Funeral services will be Thursday October 18th at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakeshore 2nd Ward Chapel 5916 S. 3200 W. in Spanish Fork, with a viewing prior to the funeral.
Interment will follow at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
