Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather was called home to be reunited with his parents (Wilma Rose Houston & Eldon H. Cook) and his grandson (Kolton Mosbarger). He passed away peacefully in his home while in his "79 th year".

Marion was survived by his wife, Margrette Jane Greenman Cook; 10 children: David Michael Cook (Andrea), Stephen Earl Cook (Amarilis), Sheldon Ray Cook (Kittrean), Mark Houston Cook (Jillaine), Jonathan W. Cook (Amy), Michael Burdette Cook (Crystal), Sarah Jeannette Mosbarger (Kevin), Rebekah Michelle Cook, Miriam Elizabeth Cook, and Amos Terhune Cook; 29 grandchildren: Nichole Lynn, Michael David, Natalie Jean, Jacob Ryder (Courtney Ann Miller), Makenzie Louise, Jennifer Lauren (Philip Elisha Schow), Bryan Stephen (Madison Terry Glissmeyer), Courtney Amarilis, Miriam Estelle (Jeremy James Wilson), Noah Maurice (Kelsey Megan Farr), Javin Peri, Chloe Rose, Malcolm Henry, Samuel Jay, Benjamin James, Hannah Leigh, Jordan Rae, Alexus Ann, Morgan Ley, Piper Joe, Rylee Ann Gray, Kolton Kenneth, Annika Jane and Kaleb Teagan; 2 2/3 great-grandchildren, Malia Lauren, Amaree Madison and yet to be born, Ryder Jacob. He is also survived by three sisters: Sherrie, Aloma and Crystal and one brother, John; 3 brothers-in law, Burdette Gage, Robert Terhune and Rawn Phillips Greenman.

Marion was a great asset to his community and family, a lifelong learner, world traveler, agriculturalist and poet/writer. He was very proud of his family and saw them as his pride and joy. He served a mission for the LDS Church in the Northern Far East Mission (Japan). He attended Rick's College and BYU returning for his Master's of Science at age 60. He served in many positions in the LDS Church and in the communities he lived in. He was known as an "old fart with 10 kids"

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Hobble Creek 1 st Ward, 555 S 600 E, Springville, UT. There will be a viewing Thursday, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Burial will be held in Ammon, ID on November 2 nd .
