Marie Fullmer Tipton, 90, of Springville, Utah, born January 6, 1934, passed away November 19, 2024. She was born to Alma and Bertha Clyde Fullmer in Springville Utah. She married Norman Dean Tipton, February 7, 1952, in Springville, Utah. They had five children. Kim Hitchcock, (Paul, deceased) of Vernal Utah; Kevin (Susan) of Cedar City, Utah; Tracy (deceased); Greg (deceased) and Kelly (Mary) of Highland Utah. Marie was the youngest of five girls and one adopted brother (all deceased).
She attended grade school in Springville and graduated from Springville High School. She was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Marie enjoyed get-togethers with family and other groups where she would visit and find out all she could about people. She enjoyed meeting with a lady's group weekly where they would visit and play cards. She loved doing things with her children and grandchildren and would attend their many activities from sports to concerts to performances to graduations. From these associations with her family there were many life skills and lessons learned. She worked in food services for the Nebo School District for many years serving lunches to middle school and high school students. For her children, it was always a special treat to see their mom every day in the lunch line.
Marie is survived by her husband, 3 children, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, four sisters, one brother and her parents.
A family celebration will be held on Friday, December 6, at 11 :00 am at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 211 East 200 South, Springville, Utah. She will be buried in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
