Marian Nuttall Bird, age 88 passed away on August 9, 2021 in Springville, Utah. She was born in the family home in Salem, Utah on March 2, 1933 to William Ephraim Nuttall and Zella May Cloward. Marian attended schools in Salem, UT, Payson, UT, and college in California. She worked in the medical field as an office manager for a physician.
After moving to Utah she lived in Salt Lake and Springville where she met Dan Bird at church. They were married May 9, 1998 and had so much love for each other. Together they served a mission as LDS employment specialists.
Marian loved the LDS church and served in many positions including Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary President, also Compassionate Service Leader.
She was also president of Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Mapelton-Springville Company, Captain of Sierra Bonita Camp. She enjoyed working in her yard, genealogy, reading, and traveling, serving in the San Diego and Provo Temple, shopping and lunching with her sister Carol. She was known by some as the Audrey Hepburn of Springville. She loved her family very much, many moments with them were joyful. She will be dearly missed by her best friend, beloved dog Piper.
She is survived by her loving sister Carol Nuttall Greenhalgh; her children, Martha (Ken) Cornwall, Merry Jo Rivera (John Emrick), Kathryn (Larry) Beesley, Karen Chaves and Susan (Russ) Muscarella. 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is also survived by Dan's children, Keller and Terra Clark family and Peggy and Ken Ausdal family who we would like to thank for their love and support. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Dan Bird, mother Zella May Cloward Nuttall, father William Ephriam Nuttall, brother Kenneth Nuttall, and sister Pauline Nuttall Borgen.
There will be a private graveside service held for family.
