Margene Allan Crandall

Margene Allan Crandall, 78 passed away August 22 peacefully after suffering a long illness. She was born in Mapleton, Utah, November 12, 1932, to Ira and Genevieve Allan. Margene grew up in Mapleton, Utah and graduated from Springville High school. She married Nathan Boyd Crandall June 12, 1953, their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple, February 18, 1995. She worked in food service for Nebo School District for 28 years. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for 15 years where she made many wonderful friends. She was a member of the LDS church and served faithfully in many callings. She loved her little ward family and the way they took such good care of her. She loved and valued spending time with her family, leaving many cherished memories. She also enjoyed going on fun trips with Nathan and all of their friends, always looking forward to the next trip



She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Nathan, who passed away May 23, 2011. Also preceding her in death are her parents; daughter, Cheri Crandall Rosenlof; brother, Neil Allan; sister, Barbara Allan Taylor; and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her two sons; Alan (Karri) Crandall, Spanish Fork, Danny (Laurie) Crandall, Springville; daughter, Natalie (John) Kramer, Spanish Fork; nine grandchildren: Dustin Crandall, Kalli Ann Crandall, Shaylee Crandall, Haley (Grant) Evans, John (Stacey) Kramer, Ashley Kramer, Kaitlyn Kramer, Nathan Kramer, Kourtney Kramer; four great-grandchildren; sister, Ravae Allan; sister-in-laws, Evelyn Allan, Ruth Carter. Special thanks to Patsy, Cynthia, Sydney and Paige. They made it possible for her to be comfortable and remain in her own home.



Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the LDS Chapel at 55 N. Main, Springville. There will be a viewing Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville and Thursday at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
