Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandma Margee Ann Massey Allan passed away February 27, 2025.
She was born July 22, 1938, in Vernal, Utah to George O Massey and Florence Elma Davis and raised in Provo and Springville and attended BY high.
She met the love of her life Calvin Frank Allan on Center Street in Provo and they were married December 12, 1955. Together they settled in Springville and the four of us soon followed. They were later sealed in the Provo LDS temple in 1996. Dad passed away in 1994 and she missed him immensely, they are now together again.
After we grew up, Mom worked for Nebo School district for many years and enjoyed the many friends and children that she grew to know over the years. Mom loved having her nails and hair done, going to lunch, watching the Utah Jazz and BYU basketball games and any kind of owl. She loved QVC, HSN and Amazon shopping. Quilting and a nice yard were her passion.
Above all else, Mom’s family was most important to her. She always had time for us.
Mom is survived by her children: Diane (Ken) Millett, Darcy (Teena), Drew (Diane), Darren (Becky), 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, Brother Jerry and sisters-in-law Nancy Slater and Mareen Kurzer.
She is preceded in death by her husband Calvin, both of their parents, brothers Kilt and Jody, and sister Gloria as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
Per moms request there will be no viewing or funeral. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East, Springville, Utah.
We would like to thank Ability Health and Spring Gardens Assisted living in Mapleton for caring for our Mom.
Condolences may be expressed to the family on this page.
