Mom Married Preston Truman in 1987. Together they played a huge part in raising their grandson, Jason Haymond Jr.. Mom enjoyed her childhood in the mountains, and later returned to build 2 homes near her childhood home. She devoted her entire adult life to most importantly being a mother, and service to others. She enjoyed writing poetry and has self-published books containing her work. She loved the mountains and being outdoors. Mom was a good example of hard work and life ethics, being a hard worker even when her body slowed her down. Mom had such a sweet influence on everyone she met. It is hard to find anyone with a negative word to say about her. She loved her children and grandchildren very much, as well as every other child she met. Mom was, and is a true angel, and will be greatly missed here, but is having a joyous reunion with her family and friends in Heaven. Mom was famous for saying "when I go, cry for a minute, then be happy if I don't have to suffer", so she definitely wants us to rejoice in her life.
