Lyle Trevor Carrell

Lyle Trevor Carrell, 89 of Springville, Utah, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025. He was born June 20, 1935, in Ioka, Utah, to George Franklin Carrell and Floral VaDella Howells. He married Geraldine Adams on June 1, 1954, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.

Lyle enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, tennis, golf, trap shooting, and gardening. He was an excellent father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings. He served as a Counselor, a Ward Clerk or Executive Secretary for seven Bishoprics. He also served as a Stake Executive Secretary. Lyle is survived by his four children: Shirene Regelin of Redding, California; Bob Carrell of Twin Falls, Idaho; Doug Carrell of Salt Lake City, Utah; Stephen Carrell of Anderson, California. Lyle has 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. 

 A viewing for family and friends will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 11:30 am-12:30 pm. At 12:30 pm there will be a funeral service at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville, Utah. The dedication of the grave will be at the Historic Springville Cemetery, 200 West 400 South, Springville, Utah, following the funeral service.
