1929 Lula 2015

Lula Louise (Shepherd) Frandsen

September 4, 1929 — August 29, 2015

Our sweet wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend returned home to our Heavenly Father on Saturday August 29, 2015. She was born September 4, 1929 to Lula and Charles Shepherd. She met the love of her life and eternal companion, Richard E. Frandsen. They were married September 8, 1949. The marriage was later solemnized in Salt Lake City Temple September 8, 1960. They spent their early years in Provo, then relocated to Springville in 1952 where they purchased their forever home and raised their four children, and still reside.

Lousie was an amazing quiIter and enjoyed crocheting afghans for her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed camping and catching fish-but not eating them, bowling with friends, and trying new restaurants, it was rare to not see a wordsearch book within her reach.

Lousie did not like to be in the spotlight and was so soft spoken, but she was always there, forever present in her children and grandchildren lives as long as her health allowed. For the past 25 years she courageously battled with heart disease. We love you Hun. We love you mom. We love you grandma. We miss you so much already. Our world will never be the same without you in it.

Survived by her Husband of 67 years Richard E Frandsen; two sons, Richard Lynn (Rickie) Frandsen, William ‘Bill’ (Tami) Frandsen; daughters, Vicki (Calvin) Jones andSandra (Jay) Lamb; sister, Naomi Adams; and brother, Russel (Sharon) Shepherd. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 due in October. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joy; brother, Don; and a grandson, Joshua Frandsen.

At Lousie’s request, a visitation will be held at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m with services starting at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery, Springville Utah.
