Our happy baby boy, Luke Adam Redd, returned to heaven on Sunday, March 16, 2025. He was our little light. We will miss him every day. He came to our family on September 14, 2022.
Luke loved Bluey, bubbles, and a stuffed kangaroo named "Bunny" that journeyed to him with his dad all the way from Australia. He would be on his bike every moment he could, both indoors and outdoors.
Luke was a smart boy, almost potty trained, talking with so many words. He showed so much empathy, apologizing when someone got hurt and reminding close ones that, "I love you". He could often be heard asking, "Do you wanna snuggle?"
Luke brought excitement to every room. He reminded everyone of the privilege it is to teach and love little children. He was dearly loved by his grandparents. Luke always cheered for joy when visiting relatives.
Most of his day was spent with his mother, watering flowers, running errands, helping cook, chasing chickens and collecting their eggs, and snuggling each morning. His brother, William, loved him dearly and would take him go-karting, read him books, and wrestled around. Alice, his sister, could spend hours a day playing toys together, going to the park, and watching shows while eating dried mangos. Luke would greet his dad at the door each day with cheers of excitement and a big hug. No father could ask for more.
His funeral will be held on Saturday March 22, 2025 at 11:00am at the LDS chapel, 1316 S Main St, Mapleton, UT 84664. A viewing will be held on the same day from 9:30 - 10:30am at the same location.
Condolences may be expressed to the family on this page.
