Lucille Jensen Ollerton

Lucille Jensen Ollerton, 88, of Springville, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in Provo, UT of causes incident to age. She was born June 12, 1919 in Springville,UT to Allie M. and Charlotte Gammell Jensen.

She married Marion Everett Ollerton June 10, 1943 in Santa Barbara, CA. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Mother served in various organization of the church faithfully for many years. She sang with Sweet Adelines for 10 years. She served an LDS mission with her husband to Wisconsin.

Mom was a kind, caring woman with many talents. She will be missed dearly. She cared for all of her grandchildren over the years with so many hugs and kisses they will never forget.

She is survived by her children: Cheryl Ollerton, Richard (Karen) Ollerton, Peggy Jackson, Roger (Denia) Ollerton, Jan Bennet, Phil Ollerton, Deena Jenkins and Kris (Marlean) Ollerton; 24 Grandkids and 22 Great-Grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Marcie and a sister, Melva Houser.

The family would like to thank the Dr.'s and nurses at UVRMC ER & ICU for the excellent and loving care they not only gave mother but extended to each member of the family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the LDS Chapel at 840 S 400 E, Springville, UT. A viewing will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S, Springville or Saturday, one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
