Lucille Barker Johnson passed away August 13, 2013 surrounded by her family.

Lucille was born April 28, 1931 in Hobblecreek Canyon, Springville, Utah to Jesse Ray & Eva Jane Gavin Barker. She married Joseph D. (Bud) Johnson on January 22, 1951 in the Manti Temple.

She attended schools in Springville and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in many various callings.

Lucille was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. Her family brought her her greatest joy in life! She loved spending time with her family camping, 4-wheeling, boating, and enjoying time together at their family cabin. Lucille loved life and lived every moment to the fullest.

She is survived by her husband, Bud; son Brent D. Johnson, Taylorsville; Kirk (Jessica) Johnson, No. Salt Lake; Greg (Janet) Johnson of Mapleton; and many grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Sister Mary (Larry) Wolfly; and brother LeGrande (Mary Lou) Barker.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kim Johnson, her parents, 2 brothers, Ray & Howard Barker & 2 sisters, Alfreda Waters & Utahna Barker.

The family would like to recognize & express their many thanks to Lucille's wonderful Hospice caregivers & Ward family members. We appreciate their care & love.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hobblecreek West Stake Center, 555 South Averett Ave., (600 East), Springville, UT. Friends may call at Wheeler Mortuary 211 E 200 S in Springville Sunday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. & at the Church one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
