LoRene Kesler Dunn

Itha LoRene Kesler Dunn, age 73 of Provo, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2008. She was born April 17, 1934 in Milford, Utah to Clarke LeRoy Kesler and Louinna Patterson Kesler. She married Kenneth Atwood Dunn November 17, 1951 in Tyhee, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.



LoRene was an active member of the LDS church and served as Relief Society President many times, as a temple ordinance worker, and in the Young Women's organization. She was an excellent cook. LoRene loved to sing, was an avid crocheter, and a very loving and caring person.



She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Provo; three sons and two daughters: Dennis Ray (Sherry) Dunn of Payson, Rebecca (John) Segesman of Barstow, CA, Lowell (Carol) Dunn of West Jordan, Shelly (Paul) Nance of Springville, Clark (Dori) Dunn of Pocatello, ID; 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Val Kesler of Draper and Fred Kesler of Spanish Fork.



Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Slate Canyon LDS Chapel at 1745 South State Street in Provo. There will be a viewing held at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Springville Historic Cemetery under the direction of Wheeler Mortuary.
