Lola Dawn Pyne Liston of Springville, Utah, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 23, 2019. She was born to Samuel and Vivian Pyne on November 20, 1945 in Provo, Utah.
Family meant everything to Lola. She desired and was blessed to be a stay-at-home mother, and was as dedicated to her grandchildren as her own children. She was a seamstress and later in her life became a quilter. Her service to others was not overlooked. She served a mission with her husband in Taiwan, as well as in the Missionary Training Center. She served in many other church callings including the primary, young women, and stake self-reliance. Her hobbies include: long walks, hiking, back packing, camping, piano, reading, and serving others. Those who knew her well often commented that she had a "million dollar" smile.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Doyle (Judy) and her granddaughter Madilyn Liston. The light of her life is her husband Ron Liston, and their five children; Julie (Adam), Kristine (Riley), Brea (Brenden), Eric (Alisa), Andy (Missy) and 15 Grandchildren. Her surviving siblings include Elaine (Morris), Mel (Michelle), and Roger (Chris).
A viewing will be held Sunday January 27th at 6:00 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville, Utah. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 28th at the Springcreek Stake Center, 760 North 400 East, Springville, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the services at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will be held at Orem City Cemetery following the services.
