Leo Frederick Barrett

Leo Frederick Barrett Jr passed away at the age of 93 in Mapleton Utah on September 8th 2023.

He was born in Salem Indiana, and eventually made his way to California where he married his wife of 62 years, raised his children, and lived most of his life. Together they traveled to many places and created lots of memories.

Leo leaves behind his wife Freida, and his children Steve Barrett, Jim (Tracie) Barrett, Karen (Jim) Gwyn, and Carol (Mike) Archuleta, his brother  Leroy as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Leo K and Ocal, his sister Velma, brothers Leland and Lee and his daughter Michelle.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Wheeler Mortuary in Mapleton, 82 West 400 North, Mapleton, with a viewing held from 11:30am - 12:30 pm prior to the services. Interment will be in the Mapleton Cemetery.
